Patterson Hits River

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

The pre-flop action between Tyler Patterson and an unnamed opponent went Patterson raise and his opponent re-raising out of the small blind. Patterson called and the flop came {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. The player from the small blind led out for 3,100 and Patterson made the call.

The turn was the {A-Hearts} and both players checked.

The river was the {4-Spades} and the player in the small blind led out for 5,000. Patterson raised it to 15,000 after looking like he was going to just call. His opponent grabbed a bit of his food, looked at his cards, and then called. He mucked when Patterson showed {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a rivered two pair.

Patterson has over a million in live lifetime tournament winnings, including an 11th place finish at the World Poker Tour Borgata Winter Poker Open Championship Event this past January.

Kostelac KO's Dowling

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Bart Dowling
Bart Dowling

Bart Dowling fired out a half-pot bet of 5,000 on a board of {4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}, and his opponent, John Kostelac, went into the tank.

"What?" Dowling said abruptly. "On a flush draw?"

Kostelac remained silent, before finally moving all in for around 8,000 more. There was a beat, and Dowling committed the remainder of his stack.

Kostelac: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Dowling: {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The {5-Spades} bricked off on the river, and Dowling hit the rail. Kostelac is up to 35,000 chips.

Burr Drags One

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Melissa Burr and two other players were in contention for what looked like a 4,000-chip pot or so on the river of a {6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} board. The action checked to a player who tossed out a single yellow T1,000 chip, and Burr raised to 3,500.

The raise got through as the bettor thought better of it, and mucked his hand.

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

A few players have gone busto recently including James Woods, Andy Frankenberger, and Corrie Wunstel. Frankenberger and Wunstel have already re-entered and while there is no sign of Woods taking a new seat yet it wouldn't be surprising if he did.

Also taking there seats recently are Tony Dunst and Melissa Burr. Players have until the end of the dinner break to register, which is approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes from now.
