Event 10: Wei Wang Eliminated in Eighth Place ($3,730)

With blinds at 50,000-100,000, Wei Wang pushed his 140,000 stack in from early position. Greg Wish reraised to 300,000 after action folded to his button, and Mark Rebuck made the call from the small blind. Both players checked the {7-Spades}{a-Clubs}{q-Spades} flop, and a {9-Clubs} turned. Rebuck checked, Wish bet 200,000, and Rebuck folded.

"I have an out," Wang announced. Indeed, he turned over {j-Diamonds}{10-} for a double-gutshot straight draw. Rebuck held {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} for top-top, and the river was a safe {q-Clubs} for him.

Event 10: Boyle Wins Despite Lost "Flip"

James Boyle and another player were all in before the flop with a third player tanking. Someone called the clock, and the floor came over and announced a one-minute countdown. Rather than continue to tank, the player decided to leave it up to chance.

"If I pick a gray chip, I'll call you guys," he announced, grabbing roughly equal stacks of purple T500 and gray T5000 chips and mixing them up while looking away. He aimed his pointer finger downward and picked up the chip it landed on: a purple chip. He immediately slid his cards to the dealer.

Boyle: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

The board ran out {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{k-Spades}, meaning Boyle had almost certainly lost out on a chance to get more chips if the player in Seat 5 had grabbed a gray chip. Still, he has around 100,000.

Event 10: Miranda and Gill Eliminated, Final Table Set

Steve Gill busted just short of the final table.
Steve Gill busted just short of the final table.

Steve Gill shoved for 390,000 from the cutoff, and Greg Wish peaked down at his hand in the big blind.

"I'll gamble," he announced.

Wish: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Gill: {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Far from gambling, Wish had a solid lead, which stood up on the {j-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop. A {3-Spades} turn gave Gill a gutter, but the river was a {q-Diamonds}, no help to the former World Series of Poker Circuit winner.

At the same time, Julian Miranda got his short stack all in with {a-}{k-} against the {k-}{6-} of Andy Hwang. Hwang flopped a six and busted Miranda, who had been grinding a short stack from start to finish, according to his tablemates.
