Event #16: $400 Saturday Series Deepstack
Day 1 Started
Today's one-day trophy event is another Saturday Series Deep Stack! Players get a 25,000-chip Deep Stacks and all levels are 30 minutes long.
The $100,000 guarantee on this event always brings out a big crowd and today should be no different. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are allowed until the start of level 11 (about 4:45pm). Play will continue until a winner is determined and another Borgata Open trophy finds a new home.
Last year, this event saw 344 entries creating a prize pool of $116,788. The final 36 players earned a share and when they reached the final five at about 2 a.m., they decided to wrap it up with an adjusted payout agreement. Tom McMillan was the chip leader and took first place and $17,433, along with his first Borgata Open trophy.
