Gabriel Negron

Gabriel Negron was down to his last 5,300 just moments ago but he was optimistic.

"Watch I'm gonna come back and win this thing" he said with a smile. Negron managed to find a double up and he never looked back.

He is now sitting behind a healthy stack of 25,000 as we approach the dinner break.

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
David Jackson
David Jackson

Four players saw a flop of {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts} and the action checked around.

The turn brought the {q-Hearts} and it checked to David Jackson who bet 4,500 into a main pot of about 10,000.

That was enough to get three quick folds and Jackson dragged in the pot.

Pardy Takes from Rossetti

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Rick Rossetti raised to 1,800 from middle position and Jason Pardy re-raised to 6,000 from the button. It folded back to Rossetti who called and they went heads up to the {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop.

Both players checked and the turn brought the {5-Hearts}. Again both players knuckled the felt and the {6-Spades} completed the board.

Rossetti tossed out a bet of 5,000 and Pardy quickly called. "Jacks" Rossetti announced turning over {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Pardy showed {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} to take the pot.
