The final Event #1: $600 Deepstack Kick Offflight is in the books and after sixteen levels of play it's Greg Himmelbrand leading the way with 626,000.

Himmelbrand vaulted to the top of the counts late in the night and secured a sizable pot in the last hand of play to bag the Day 1f chip lead.

There were 778 entries on Day 1f bringing the combined Event #1 total to 2,503 entries over six starting flights.

The chips were flying in the Event Center and there was certainly no shortage of action.

Some of the big stacks and day 1f players that are advancing includeJackob Datashvili (431,000), Murod Shaturaev (400,000), Damon Ferrante (337,000), Phong "VIP" Nguyen (300,000), James Calderaro (276,000), Nick Palma (191,000), Ryan DePaulo (132,000) and Mukul Pahuja (132,000).

There were plenty of big-name pros and Borgata regulars that fell by the wayside today failing to move on to day two. Mike Dentale, Victor Ramdin, Moe Farah, Ruth Ruffman, Joe Palma and Carlos Alvarado were among the day 1f players to hit the rail.

Approximately 335 combined Day 1a-f survivors are advancing to day two and play will resume at noon local time in the Event Center. Sridhar Sangannagari (Day 1b) will return as the overall chip leader with a massive stack of 810,000.
