While Day 2 of the Almighty Stack trudges on, a new tournament is slated to kick off at 1 p.m.

Event #12: $1,090 Six-Max NLH ($150,000 GTD) is a two-day tournament and will start players with 20,000 in chips. Late registration and re-entries will be available through the break at the end of Level 10. Levels 1-8 will last 30 minutes and after that will switch to 45 minutes in length. At the final table, they'll jump one more time to one-hour levels.

Last year this tournament cruised by its $150K GTD by drawing 239 entrants, which resulted in a $239,000 prize pool. Shaun O'Donnell of Succasunna, New Jersey ultimately prevailed to win the title and accompanying $61,434 first-place prize.

SixMax Underway in Front of Event Center

The SixMax NLH event always kicks off Championship weekend here at Borgata and they’re now underway in the front of the Event Center. This event serves as a great warm-up for players planning to play the Championship and the big buy-in draws the serious pros.

This is also a great "palette cleanser" for the players who have been eliminated from the Almighty, currently playing down to the money in the rear of the Event Center.
