The early chip leader appears to be Harpreet Padda, playing about 60,000, which is triple the starting stack.
Aubrey Williams is up to ~50,000 in early bounty action.
One interesting table in the field includes Scott Efron, Hamid Izadi, Will "the Thrill" Failla, and Mike Dentale. This one should be good for some fireworks. Efron cracked pocket kings with his all-in, catching an ace on the flop to double up.
Registration will remain open for a looooong time, so the entry count will continue to climb.

The Purple Chip Bounty players are done with eight levels and getting a 30-minute break. Call it a shortened dinner break or long regular break.
Either way, when they return at about 8:50pm, registration will close.
