Padda Leading Early in Purple Chip Bounty

Level 3: Blinds 100/200/200 BB Ante

The early chip leader appears to be Harpreet Padda, playing about 60,000, which is triple the starting stack.

Aubrey Williams is up to ~50,000 in early bounty action.

One interesting table in the field includes Scott Efron, Hamid Izadi, Will "the Thrill" Failla, and Mike Dentale. This one should be good for some fireworks. Efron cracked pocket kings with his {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} all-in, catching an ace on the flop to double up.

Registration will remain open for a looooong time, so the entry count will continue to climb.

Lemus Collects Zollo's Bounty

Edgar Lemus
Edgar Lemus

Dennis Zollo got his stack of about 37,000 all in pre-flop holding {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} against the {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} of Edgar Lemus.

The dealer fanned the {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop and Lemus maintained the lead with his pocket jacks.

The {q-Hearts} hit the turn and Zollo paired his queen to take control of the hand. Lemus was down to just two outs and he found one of them when the {j-Clubs} hit the river.

The table erupted as Lemus spiked a set on the river and collected Zollo's $500 purple bounty chip.

Matos Battles Back

Carlos Matos
Carlos Matos

Carlos Matos found himself short stacked with just a single 5,000 chip at the 800/1,600 blind level. He found a double up and never looked backed.

"I was short but not anymore" joked Matos who is now sitting behind a healthy stack of nearly 200,000.
