2019 Event #8: $340 PLO Kicks Off at 3 p.m.
Event #8: $300+$40 Pot-Limit Omaha is set to begin at 3 p.m. local time. The tournament starts players with 20,000 in chips and offers late registration and re-entry through the break at the end of Level 10. Levels are each 30 minutes in length.
This is a new price point for the BPO PLO tournament with last year's edition costing $400+$50 to enter. That tournament attracted 62 runners and daw Hyo Joo of Palisades Park, New York take it down for $7,003 after a deal.

Walsworth Eliminates Israelashvili, Extends Lead
The turned board read 
and there was 6,300 in the pot. The four-way pot checked to Roland Israelashvili who pushed in a pot bet of 6,300 and Peter Walsworth raised pot from his direct left.
Action folded back Israelashvili who called for his remaining 3,000 stack and the two tabled their hands. Israelashvili tabled 
for a straight and flush draw. Walsworth turned over 
for three seven and the current bets hand. A 
landed on the river and Walsworth took down the pot, eliminating Israelashvili from the tournament as he added to his chip lead.

The Event 8 PLO players have returned from break and is play is back underway. There were 76 total entries creating a prize pool of over $21,000.
The payouts are being finalized and they will be posted as soon as they're available.

Event #8: $340 PLO has just 12 remaining of the original 76 entries to join and only nine of those will be finding a payday. A min-cash will be $664 for the ninth-place finisher with the eventual winner pulling in $7,741.
