Day 3 of the WPT BPO Championship will get getting underway shortly with 145 returning players, all of whom are in the money and guaranteed to earn at least $5,797. Of course all have their eye on the top prize of $616,186 and becoming part of the WPT Champions Club.
Jonathan Jaffe starts Day 3 as the chip leader with 1,035,000, followed by Victor Ramdin with 1,016,000. Both of these guys are already Champions Club members, so they're looking for a second plaque on the trophy.
Play has begun with 52 minutes remaining in Level 17 (Blinds 3,000/6,000 with 6,000 BB Ante).
They're just one elimination away from breaking Table 17.
WSOP Bracelet winner Michael Wang was the first player to hit the rail, finishing 145th for $5,797.
Jacob Corda got his last few chips in holding against the of John Hinds. A jack on the flop was all it took to end Corda's tournament. He finished 137th for $5,797.

Jonathan Jaffe (sb) and Bill Jennings, (bb) and Jason Wade (utg) were looking at a flop of and Jaffe checked, Jennings checked, and Wade fired 20,000. Jaffe flatted, then Jennings raised to 77,000. Wade folded, Jaffe then raised to 250,000, and Jennings shoved all 295,000 in. Jaffe called the small raise and the hands were tabled.

After doubling up through the chip leader, Bill Jennings didn't hold on to those chips for long. He got involved in a pot with WPT Commentator Tony Dunst.
On the turn with the board reading , Dunst got all-in for ~240,000 and called by Jennings.
