McGuinness Lands Double Through Matos

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The turned board showed {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and there was around 32,000 in the middle. John McGuinness shoved all in for 22,600 and Carlos Matos started to think.

Ultimately Matos called, tabling {q-Hearts}{j-Spades} for some straight outs and was behind when McGuinness showed his {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, giving him a pair of tens with a flush draw.

The {4-Hearts} completed the board and McGuinness improved to a flush that was more than good enough to take down the pot, doubling through Matos.

Ford Finds a Lady to Double

Level 10 : 800/1,500, 1,500 ante

James Ford opened and a player on his direst left three-bet. Ford four-bet all in for 54,000 total and his opponent snap-called, putting for at risk of elimination as they turned over their cards.

James Ford: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

The dealer flipped over {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{q-Spades} on the board and Ford's rivered set of queens snagged the pot, cracking as en route to a complete double up.
