Avery Flips Opponent Out

Level 11 : 800/1,500, 1,500 ante

A player moved all in for their remaining 23,400 stack and Corbin Avery called, putting his opponent at risk of elimination.

Opponent: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Corbin Avery: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and Avery's flopped king scooped the pot, eliminating his opponent in the process.

Rines Doubles Thru Alberto

Level 11 : 800/1,500, 1,500 ante
Kevin Rines & George Alberto
Kevin Rines & George Alberto

Kevin Rines limped early, then George Alberto made it 7,800 to go from the small blind. Rines gave it some thought, then called.

On the flop of {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} both players checked, and repeated that action on the {7-Hearts} turn. When the {3-Hearts} completed the board, Alberto tossed in 16,000. Rines announced he was all-in and Alberto wanted a count — 45,400 total.

Rines stood up and Alberto did likewise, saying "you don't have the flush," then "this would be a sick call". He finally tossed in the chips and showed {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} for the rivered straight. Rines had rivered the flush with his {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and doubled up. Alberto was still in good shape, although he probably regrets making that "sick call".

Taylor Finds Value on the River

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The turned board read {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and there was around 11,500 in the pot. Action checked to Sam Taylor, he bet 6,800 and his opponent quickly check-called.

A {2-Spades} completed the board and again action checked to Taylor who once more threw in a bet, this time for 14,500. His opponent thought for a moment but in the end, they called.

Taylor said "Bad river," wish as smile as he turned over {6-Spades}{5-Spades} for a rivered straight and his opponent mucked their hand, shipping the pot to Taylor who now sits among the top.
