Hu Takes Down Another Pot

Level 22 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Jonathan Dokler opened to 175,000 from the button and Qi Hu called. The dealer spread out {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} on the flop and Hu led out for 265,000.

Dokler called to see the {j-Hearts} turn and both players checked through to the {2-Diamonds} river where Hu pushed in 900,000. Dokler folded and Hu scooped in another pot as he starts to bridge the gap.

The board read {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} when Jonathan Dokler moved Nitis Udornpim all-in. Udornpim called, tabling {10-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a straight but it was not good enough as Dokler tabled {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a boat, sending Udornpim out in third place for a respectable $48,549.

Anton Wigg moved all in for about 1,125,000 from the cutoff and Jonathan Dokler quickly called on the button, putting the start of the day chipleader at risk.

Anton Wigg: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Jonathan Dokler: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

The flop came down {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}, giving Dokler a boat and could no longer win the hand. A {10-Spades} shut down any hopes of a split pot and Wigg was then drawing dead to the {q-Diamonds} river, being sent home in fourth place by Dokler who now has an overwhelming chip lead.
