On the 8♣7♦3♠ flop, Botticello's bet for 9,000 was check-called twice before the A♣ turn was checked. St. Lawrence then bet the 8♥ river for 53,000, which was exactly how many chips Funaro had left behind. Funaro folded and Botticello went deep into the tank before he folded.
"Show the bluff," another player demanded and St. Lawrence flashed the K♥J♠ for a bluff indeed.
"You got me off an ace," Botticello told his opponent while another player one table over asked "did John win the hand?"
