Thomas Balla bet 50,000 from the cutoff on a flop of 6♣J♥9♥ before Mario Damiao raised to 120,000 in the big blind. "You have a good hand?" Balla asked.

"The best," Damiao replied as Balla called all in.

"It's not quite the best right now," Balla said as he was ahead with two pair, but Damiao hit the Q♦ on the turn to make queens and jacks. The river was the 4♠ and Balla was eliminated in 11th place.

Damiao then admitted he had been up until 8 am playing Double Board Bomb Pot. "I made more money there than I stand to win here," he said.

"You won $25?," Danny Chang asked.

"You assume I'm going to win this? No, I did win $5K, though," Damiao replied.

Mueller Leaves Sowinski on Fumes

Danny Chang bet 15,000 from the cutoff on a flop of 6♣K♣8♦ and Brandon Mueller raised to 70,000 in the big blind. Piotr Sowinski then potted to 290,000 under the gun, and only Mueller called.

Both players checked the 5♥ turn. Mueller then bet 275,000 on the 7♠ river, and Sowinski tanked for a few minutes before calling.

Mueller turned over 10♣7♣4♣3♣ for a straight, and Sowinski mucked.

A few hands later, Sowinski raised to 50,000 in the cutoff and Graig Churchill called in the small blind. Churchill then bet 25,000 on the A♣4♥9♠ flop, and Sowinski called all in.

On a flop of J♠8♥4♠ with about 150,000 in the pot, James Hundt got his final 255,000 into the middle from the button, at risk against Danny Chang from the hijack.

Hundt flopped top pair and a gutter against the flush draw of Chang. However, the A♣ turn put Chang into the lead, and the 6♠ river improved him to the nut-flush, sending Hundt to the rail in 12th.

On the 10♦9♠4♦ flop, Arena led for pot of 195,000, Zweigbaum called all in for 40,000, and Churchill folded.

The board ran out 5♥A♥9♣10♥6♦, and Zweigbaum turned a flush to win the pot and double up.

A few hands later at this table, Mark Aridgides raised to 50,000 in middle position and Elan Chabi called on the button.

The flop came 2♠9♦4♠ and Aridgides bet 35,000. Chabi called, and the 3♠ fell on the turn.

Aridgides checked over to Chabi, who bet 60,000. Aridgides called, and they both checked the 6♠ river.

Aridgides showed J♠10♦9♠7♥ for a flush. "Had king-king, nine-nine, and he just drills it," Chabi lamented as he mucked.

On the 7♥6♣3♥ flop, Mueller check-folded to a bet of 150,000 from Chang.

Mark Aridgides potted to 35,000 from middle position and was called by Philip Black on the button and Elan Chabi from the small blind.

On the A♦7♣6♦ flop, Aridgides continued for 40,000, Black potted to 245,000, and Chabi jammed for 375,000. Aridgides got out of the way before Black called off his shorter stack for just a couple more chips.

The turn was the A♣ and action checked to Aridgides, who bet 110,000. Chabi called, while Churchill then moved all in for 135,000. Both opponents called.

The 6♣ river was checked down, and Churchill showed A♥J♥6♦4♠ for a full house. Aridgides flashed 8♣8♦ as he mucked, while Chadi said he had ace-king as he also sent his cards back to the dealer.

At another table, Danny Chang had limped in before Thomas Balla raised to 45,000 in the cutoff. James Hundt three-bet to 160,000 on the button and Chang called, while Balla also called all in.

Chang bet 40,000 on the 7♦6♦3♦ flop, and Hundt folded.
