Neves and Borovkov Take Turns Betting

Aleksei Borovkov opened the action with a raise to 40,000 in the cutoff and Gustavo Neves called from the big blind. The flop came 765 and Neves was the one to lead out with a bet of 40,000 which Borovkov called.

The turn brought the A and Neves checked this time. Borovkov took the lead with a bet of 80,000 and Neves just called. The river was the 4 and Neves led out again with a bet of 130,000. Borovkov looked him up and Neves tabled Q8 for a straight to claim the pot.

Rafael Mota raised to 55,000 in middle position and was called by Jose Carvalho in the cutoff and Joao Filho in the small blind. Eike Onodera then moved all in for 345,000 in the big blind, Mota reraised to 800,000, and Carvalho and Filho both got out of the way.

Onodera had found a pair of kings and was a big favorite to double up, but Mota spiked two pair on the A33 flop to take the lead. Onodera was left looking for the last king in the deck to stay alive but found no miracles on the 10 turn or 2 river as he was sent to the rail.

Seiji Shows the Goods; Serrano Gets Paid by Madeira

Rodrigo Seiji and William Fernandes built a pot of around 400,000 as they went heads-up to the 8J9 flop.

Seiji then bet 125,000 from the small blind and Fernandes called in the hijack. The turn was the 10 and Seiji bet 500,000. Fernandes used a time bank until eventually sliding his cards into the muck, as well as his rabbit hunt card.

Seiji showed QQ for a straight as the dealer exposed the Q river that put a straight on the board.

At another table, Diego Serrano raised to 50,000 under the gun and Carlos Madeira called in the big blind.

Both players checked the A53 flop and Madeira led out for 100,000 on the 6 turn. Serrano called and the K fell on the river.

Madeira checked over to Serrano who bet 200,000. Madeira used a few time banks before calling as Serrano showed AQ. Madeira flashed the A as he mucked.

Two Bets from Ramos

Dennys Ramos raised to 50,000 in the hijack and Santiago Plante defended from the big blind. The flop came KJ7 and Plante check-called a bet of 45,000 from Ramos.

The K paired the board on the turn and Plante checked again. Ramos put together a bet of 165,000 and Plante instantly slid his cards to the muck.
