Moraes Faces Little Resistance

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 15,000 ante

Ariel Celestino raised to 3,000 from under the gun, which was met by a three-bet to 7,500 from Mateus Moraes in the cutoff. The action folded back to Celestino, who called.

When the dealer spread the 4A9 flop, a continuation bet of 5,000 was enough to see Moraes claim the pot.

Tavares Chips Up Early

Level 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Seeing a raise to 2,500 and a call ahead of him, Gabriel Tavares three-bet to 12,000 from the button. Ariel Celestino responded with a four-bet to 30,000 from the small blind, which only Tavares called.

Both players checked on the 10J7 flop, before Celestino picked his betting lead back up on the 6 turn. He put 25,000 into the middle, which Tavares called.

The river 5 saw Celestino bet again, this time for 35,000. Tavares called again, tabling 76 for two pair, which bested the AJ of Celestino.

2025 BSOP SHR Series

The highly anticipated 2025 Brazilian Series of Poker Super High Roller Series (BSOP SHR Series) has touched down in São Paulo - and what better way to set the tone for the week than with the $10,000 Super High Roller Invitational?

Hosted at the luxurious WTC Sheraton, this exclusive two-day showdown is set to be one of the highlights of the festival.

In a unique twist on the traditional high-stakes format, a select group of players will be invited by the BSOP to participate, each of whom must bring one professional player as their guest.

On Day 1, the BSOP guest players will compete exclusively against one another, while the professionals they have invited will battle in a separate field. Those who advance from their respective groups will return for Day 2, where both fields merge and the event plays down to a champion.

An exciting and innovative way to kick off the series, this Super High Roller Invitational is poised to deliver plenty of poker action from start to finish.
