For the past week, the elite of the Brazilian and international poker communities have gathered inside the WTC Sheraton in São Paulo to chase big prize pools in the Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP) Super High Roller Series. But the crown jewel of the festival starts today, when the R$500,000 ($100,000 US) Super High Roller Main Event begins at 6 p.m. local time.

The biggest buy-in tournament of the largest poker series ever held in Latin America will draw an exclusive but talent-packed field to the felt over the next three days, each in pursuit of the prestige and prize that come with this coveted title.

The players on Day 1 begin with a 500,000 starting stack. The schedule calls for 10 40-minute levels to be played today, with a 60-minute dinner break after Level 3.

Unlimited reentries are available, with late registration remaining open until the end of Level 15 on Day 2. All the action will be streamed on BSOP’s official YouTube channel starting today.
