Kabrhel Tangles With Padilha; Bruschi Gets a Warning...For His Hair
"Give him a warning. Not a penalty, just a warning for that hair. I don't want to look at it," Martin Kabrhel joked with a tournament official about Renan Bruschi. The official then playfully pretended to give Bruschi the warning.
"Want to bet he busts today? $2 million minimum. Put the money on the table," Kabrhel said to Mehdi Chaoui.
"Too rich for me," Chaoui replied.
Kabrhel then went heads-up to a 5♠3♦8♦ flop with Pedro Padilha. Kabrhel bet 40,000 from the cutoff, and Padilha raised to 155,000 under the gun.
"Against this guy I go double all in," Kabrhel said, once again pointing at Bruschi before calling. The turn was the J♣.
"The best possible card in the deck for my hand," Kabrhel added as Padilha bet another 140,000. "Very sus," Kabrhel said, calling to see the Q♠ river.
Padilha slowed down and checked as Kabrhel stood up from his seat. "Yuri, you know what's coming. You won't influence my action," Kabrhel said to Yuri Dzivielevski, who remained silent.
Kabrhel then turned to a masseuse standing by the table. "Because I like this lady," he said, slamming the table and checking behind. Padilha showed A♦9♦ for a missed flush draw, while Kabrhel had K♦Q♦ for a rivered pair of queens to win the pot.
