Mota Finds a Hero Call
Level 13
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Rafael Mota raised from under the gun to 20,000, and only Ottomar Ladva called on the button.
Mota continued for 22,000 on the 6♠6♣10♠ flop, and Ladva called again.
There was no slowing down on the K♥ turn, as Mota put 80,000 into the middle. Ladva called again.
The 4♦ river saw Mota use a time extension before checking. Ladva responded by sliding a tower of chips into the middle, enough to cover Mota's remaining 132,000.
Mota used his final time extension before opting to call.
Ladva flipped over 8♠7♠ for just eight-high. Mota showed he had made a hero call, turning over his A♥9♦.
