Lopes Freerolling Against Yokosawa
Level 20
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Ivan Luca raised to 105,000 on the button before Ruben Lopes three-bet to 250,000 in the big blind with Q♠Q♣. Luca folded K♦10♣.
Masato Yokosawa then raised to 100,000 in middle position and Lopes called in the small blind.
Lopes led out for 100,000 on the J♣10♦8♥ flop, and Yokosawa called. Lopes then bet another 425,000 on the 3♣ turn, and this time Yokosawa moved all in for 1,100,000. Lopes snap-called.
Yokosawa showed Q♠9♠, while Lopes also had Q♣9♣. Both players had flopped the nut straight, while Lopes was on a free roll with a flush draw with a chance to burst the bubble. He couldn't connect with the 6♦ river, and he and Yokosawa chopped the pot.
