Hero Call Goes Wrong For Machado as Chaoui Takes Massive Pot
Level 23
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Mehdi Chaoui raised to 210,000 in the hijack and Hugo Machado called in the big blind.
The flop came K♣3♦2♥ and Chaoui bet 125,000. Machado called and the 5♣ fell on the turn.
Chaoui then bet 385,000 and Machado again called. The river was the J♠ and Chaoui bet 1,100,000. Machado took a minute and used a time bank before calling once more, but Chaoui showed him the goods with K♥K♦ for top set. Machado mucked A♦5♠ and surrendered the pot, dropping down to the short stack.
