BSOP Super High Roller Series Keeps Rolling With the $50,000 Super High Roller at 3 p.m.
The Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP) Super High Roller Series has already drawn some of the biggest names in the game to the WTC Sheraton in Sao Paulo over the last week. The stakes get even higher today, when the R$250,000 ($50,000 US) Super High Roller begins at 3 p.m. local time.
Day 1 of the biggest buy-in tournament of the series so far will feature 12 40-minute levels. Players begin with a 250,000 starting stack. Unlimited reentries are available, with late registration remaining open until the start of Day 2 tomorrow at 2 p.m.
The first three Super High Rollers of the series have been won by some of the elite players in the Brazilian and international poker communities. They include local superstar Joao Simao, Morocco's Mehdi Chaoui, and the always-locquaious and polarizing Martin Kabrhel, who came back from a 14-1 chip deficit heads-up to win the $30,000 Super High Roller yesterday.
