Ladva Picks Off a Big Bluff to Double Off Luca

Level 9 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Ottomar Ladva

Ivan Luca raised to 17,000 in middle position, Ottomar Ladva three-bet to 50,000 in the cutoff, and Luca called.

Both players checked the QJ5 flop. Luca then led out for 25,000 on the 6 turn, Ladva raised to 85,000, and Luca called.

The river was the K and Luca moved all in. Ladva took a few seconds before calling for his last 158,000, and Luca showed 88. Ladva turned over K9 for a rivered pair of kings to win the pot and double up.

Ladva took some more off Luca a few hands later when they built a pot of around 100,000 going to the turn on a board of 10105Q. Both players checked to the Q river, and Ladva then bet 140,000 from middle position. Luca called in the big blind, and Ladva turned over Q8 for a full house to win another big pot off Luca.

Rafael Mota was the latest player to join the field.
