Vladimir Minko Eliminated in 3rd Place ($280,000)
Level 21
: Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Vladimir Minko moved all in for 850,000 in the small blind and Leandro Zavodini called in the big blind.
Vladimir Minko: J♦8♣
Leandro Zavodini: 5♠5♥
Minko hit a pair on the Q♠J♥5♣ flop, but Zavodini also spiked a set to leave Minko drawing only to running cards to survive. The A♦ turn meant Minko was drawing dead even before the K♠ fell on the river, and the former massive chip leader was sent to the rail in third place.
Zavodini and Felipe Boianovsky are taking a short break before starting heads-up play.
