Scott and Lisa Roberts were already in Europe traveling far away from their home in Atlanta, Georgia. They popped over to Dublin for a day and the first thing they did was head to the Cash Game Festival to appear at the feature table.

Lisa was unable to get things going, including losing a hand on a huge cooler with set-over-set. Despite this she had a good time and will spend time with her husband touring around Dublin tomorrow before heading back home.

"I had a lot of fun at the feature despite not getting cards," shared Lisa Roberts. "It was amazing to appear at the feature table. It was my first time placing cards on top of readers."

Scott Roberts also had fun but part of it was that he walked away with a huge stack of 25-denominated green chips. He also won a free Guinness at the wheel, which he shared with PokerNews is what he was hoping to win.

The first €1/€2 no-limit hold'em feature table is now in the books. Ed Furniss walked away from the big winner booking a healthy profit of €509 or 254.5 big blinds.

The stakes will be moving up to €2/€5 no-limit hold'em. JP McCann, who owns the Village Green Card Club, is expected to be among the players.

Throughout the Cash Game Festival, players will be awarded raffle tickets for every hour of cash games they play. Two names will be drawn at random every night from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. except for tonight where the first drawing took place at 7 p.m.

If a player's name is randomly drawn they will get to spin the Wheel of Fortune. The wheel prizes range from free drinks to cash prizes up to €250. They must be present in order to get the spin.

In addition, any player to have their name drawn will be entered into a special draw on Sunday night for one of at least two Cash Game Festival Tallinn VIP package valued at €1,650 at Olympic Park Casino on Nov. 15-19. There will also be a cash prize as well. The number of packages and cash awarded will be determined by the money remaining in the promotion after the nightly wheel prizes have been deducted. In other words, every €1 collected will be given pack to the players.

After the 7 p.m. draw, Ross Cullen spun the wheel first and won €25. Scott Roberts won the second spin and won a pint of Guinness which he was rooting for over the cash.

Four Tables in Action

The cash game tournament tables have been converted into €1/€2 no-limit hold'em tables. Most of the players that were in the tournament remained with a few new players joining them.

In total, there are now four €1/€2 no-limit hold'em tables. This is one shy of the Village Green Card Club record of five tables, which is likely to be shattered during the festival multiple times.

Feature Table Contest!

During the last Cash Game Festival at Aspers Casino in London, the organizers introduced a feature table contest where the player that won the most big blinds at any of the 10 televised feature tables won a commemorative trophy and a Cash Game Festival hospitality package for two valued at €400.

Nordicbet qualifier Jon Kyte from Norway, was the big winner after walking away with a profit of £4,265 or 853 big blinds at a £2/£5 no-limit hold'em feature table.

The contest proved to be a huge success and will repeat for the 2017 Cash Game Festival Dublin and likely be a staple for all future Cash Game Festivals.

Sascha Koal Had Fun Despite an Early Elimination

Germany's Sascha Koal came to Dublin after learning about the Cash Game Festival through watching feature tables on the stream. He will have his chance shortly to appear on the later £2/£5 feature table.

When Koal learned about the cash game tournament, he decided to give it a go before hopping into the later action. Unfortunately for him, he was the first player eliminated.

Koal has been enjoying a few pints of Guinness since moving away from the table and seemed to be in great spirits."

"The cash game tournament was fun, especially for €50," said Koal.

Koal will stay in Dublin until Sunday and PokerNews will interview him about his first Cash Game Festival experience later on in the festival.

Two Table Cash Game Tournament

The first Cash Game tournament at a Cash Game Festival has made its debut with two tables running. Players can late-enter, however, if they do so before the end of the first blind level they will receive a €25-denominated green-chip to add to their stack in play.
