It was another spectacular day at the Cash Game Festival London at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City with players enjoying themselves on and away from the poker tables.

The day began for Unibet Poker players with a hybrid cash game tournament at 3 p.m. BST. Cash Game Festival Commentator Henry Kilbane was invited to play and wound up booking a healthy profit of £323, the most of any of the players.

A couple of hours later, the first feature table of the day began with stakes at £2/£2 no-limit hold'em. Joseph Field was the biggest winner of the early session after booking a profit of £739 or 369.5 big blinds.

While the first feature table was running, Unibet Poker players and others headed off to a player's dinner on the house. Meanwhile, the poker room was filling up and eventually 19 tables were running simultaneous across a variety of poker variants.

The stakes moved up to £5/£5 pot-limit Omaha for the late stream. For the second time this festival, Chris Yong was the biggest winner after booking a profit of £1,800 or 360 big blinds.

While both Field and Yong had great sessions, neither player are the man to beat going into the final day of the festival for the coveted Cash Game Festival trophy awarded to the player that won the most big blinds out of any of the 10 main feature tables. The man everyone has a bullseye on is none other than Cash Game Festival Co-Founder Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk after he won £1,500 at a £2/£2 pot-limit Omaha table on Day 1.

Tomorrow players with the hospitality package will be invited for a guided tour with a twist before the final day of poker action begins.

Stay tuned at PokerNews for the final day of the Cash Game Festival London.

Chris Yong was the big winner on the late Day 2 £5/£5 no-limit hold'em feature table. He proved he could also be a big winner in Omaha as just now he booked a profit of £1,800 (360 big blinds) on the Day 4 £5/£5 pot-limit Omaha feature table.

Despite Yong's two huge feature table wins, he is still not the man to beat for a chance for the trophy. On Day 1, Cash Game Festival Co-Founder Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk won £1,500 on a £2/£2 pot-limit Omaha table for 750 big blinds in profit.

The Return of Jack Fenton

Jack Fenton
Jack Fenton

Jack Fenton has made his return to the Cash Game Festival after the long-time CGF veteran missed all of the stops thus far this year.

He immediately hopped onto the €1/€2 Sviten Special table with fellow CGF regular Ed Furniss, who also just arrived today.

In total, there are almost 20 tables in action with the room showing little sign of slowing down.

Who Does Philip Rolfe Think Are the Top Three French Players?

Philip Rolfe
Philip Rolfe

In line with today being Bastille Day in France, we asked Aspers Casino Poker Supervisor Philip Rolfe who he feels are the top three players from France.

Rolfe snapped answered, "Well, ElkY has to be on the list," obviously referring to Bertrand Grospellier.

He then went into the tank before his eyes lit up and said, "David Benyamine, he has to be there."

Once again Rolfe went into the tank. PokerNews was thinking of calling the clock and then said, why not choose someone that comes to Aspers Casino to play poker.

Rolfe took our advice and immediately came up with Lucille Cailly, who has played at the Cash Game Festival in London in the past and drops by the casino now and again to play poker even though now she focuses more on her comedy than cards.

It's Bastille Day! - Estonian's Jesus List of Top Three French Players

Rauno Tahvonen
Rauno Tahvonen

It is July 14, a special day in France. Across the English Channel (or La Manche') it is Bastille Day, the French National Day memorializing the anniversary of Storming of the Bastille in 1789.

With that in mind, we asked Unibet Poker Ambassador Rauno "Estonian Jesus" Tahvonen who he felt were the top three French players.

Surprising, or maybe not, Tahvonen avoided many of the big names including Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, David Benyamine, Sylvian Loosli, Fabrice Soulier, Antoine Saout, and Benjamin Pollak and took a more unique approach.

Tahvonen quickly chose Alexandre Reard in the top spot, a fellow Unibet Poker Ambassador. As this wasn't a name we quickly had in mind to be mentioned, it does make a ton of sense outside of the fact he is a brand ambassador. Tahvonen pointed out he has been a beast as of late and is ranked in 70th place at the Global Poker Index.

Second on Tahvonen's list was Ivan Deyra. He pointed out that he witnessed Deyra's fierce play in a high roller event against fellow Unibet Poker Ambassador Espen Uhlen Jorstad. Tahvonen added that Deyra is a tough player both live and online.

Last, but not least, was another Unibet Poker Ambassador Quentin Lecomte. Lecomte may not have a seven-figure resume like others from his homeland, but Tahvonen shared he respects his mindset and game. It likely didn't hurt that Lecomte won the 2013 Unibet Open Cannes Main Event for €100,000.

CGF Regs Davey, Dambrans, and Malone Battle Aspers Regs at the £5/£5 PLO Feature Table

Ryan Davey

The £5/£5 pot-limit Omaha late feature table just kicked off. Henry Kilbane and George Sandford will co-host the commentary with special guests throughout the session including Unibet Poker Ambassador Rauno "Estonian Jesus" Tahvonen.

Ryan Davey, who was the main commentator the last time the festival was in London in January is among the players in action in Seat 3. Davey, who is primarily a hold'em player, shared with PokerNews before he got on the table, "I am taking a shot, don't be too hard on me if I don't fair well."

Also, a familiar face at the table in Seat 5 is Cash Game Festival veteran, Aigars Dambrans from Latvia. Dambrans, who is also known to Cash Game Festival fans simply as Mr. Vilson, loves the action and has been just about been playing nonstop since he arrived Wednesday evening.

Just one seat over is Cash Game Festival Dublin trophy winner Kevin Malone, who is fresh off playing at the earlier feature table of the day.

Here is a quick look at everyone else in the lineup:

Anthony Andreou is a local player to the left of the dealer in Seat 1. While he is mostly a cash game player, he has had some recent results in tournaments as well including a 15th place finish in a €2,700 buy-in event in Barcelona for €15,000 in April.

Chris Wong, in Seat 2, was already the biggest winner once at a feature table this festival when the game was £5/£5 no-limit hold'em. He is out to do it a second time with the same stakes and a different game.

Aspers Casino regular David Kappel is in Seat 4. He has been itching to get on the feature table all week and finally got his first chance at today's earlier £2/£2 no-limit hold'em affair. He isn't afraid to play a bit higher and could be a player to watch out for at this table.

Another local player, David Penly, in Seat 7, could prove to be the toughest of them all. In addition to being known for his cash game prowess, he has also done well in tournaments including two final table finishes in WSOP events.

Rounding off the action is Benjamin Voreland, in Seat 8.
