Broussard Flops Set to Double Through Sebesta

The turn came the 3♦ and Sebesta checked to Broussard who continued for 5,100, but then Sebesta moved all in to cover him. Broussard snap-called, putting himself at risk and flipped over J♥J♠ for top set against the 7♣8♣ of Sebesta for an open-ended straight draw.

The river was the brick 4♦ and Broussard was awarded the pot for a successful double early in the tournament.

Andrade Spikes River to Double

James Temple opened to 600 preflop and was three-bet to 2,000 by Gabriel Andrade. Temple made the call and the two went to a flop of 9♠2♣Q♦, which saw a lead from Temple for 3,000 and a raise to 8,000 from Andrade.

On the turn A♥, Temple checked to Andrade who fired for 11,000 but then Temple check-raised to 25,000. Andrade just called and they went to the river 8♠.

Temple announced that he was all in and Andrade snap-called, tabling J♠10♠ for the rivered nut straight. Temple shook his head and mucked his hand as his entire stack was pushed over to Andrade and he made his way to the exit.
