Fitzpatrick Takes from Leffingwell

Level 9 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

On the flop of 710Q, Will Leffingwell had made it 3,500 to go but was then raised to 15,100 by Jason Fitzpatrick to his left, which he called.

The turn came the 7, pairing the board and Leffingwell checked to Fitzpatrick, who then set out a tower of chips to cover Leffingwell, which resulted in a quick fold.

'Always Has it Brad' Strikes Again

Level 9 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Brad Ruben
Brad Ruben

Brad Ruben had made it 22,500 to go preflop, and then Jason Daly moved all in for almost 100,000, which Ruben snap-called.

"Oh man, of course he has it," Daly sighed as Ruben flipped over AA.

"That's why we call him 'Always Has it Brad'," Will Leffingwell chimed in as Daly tabled AQ.

The runout of 27344 was of no assistance to Daly and he was sent to the rail as Ruben was pushed the pot, making him the chip leader.

Jain Cracks Top Set

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

On a heads-up turn of A9107, Gary Webster bet 20,000 and then Chander Jain moved all in for 44,500. Webster snap-called and tabled AA for top set but Jain flipped over 68 for a turned straight and the lead.

Webster needed the board to pair to win but the river was the Q and Jain scooped the pot for the double.

Keem Busts Bullock with Jacks

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

On a heads-up flop of Q76, Sung Keem bet 12,000 and then Jason Bullock moved all in for 31,800.

Keem only paused for a few seconds before he made the call to put Bullock at risk.

Jason Bullock: 44
Sung Keem: JJ

Only a four or a running straight could save Bullock, but the runout of QA did not do it and he was sent to the rail while Keem added to his stack.

Van' Aces Runs over Leffingwell's Kings

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Will Leffingwell opened to 6,000, Jason Fitzpatrick three-bet to 17,000, and then Ryan Van in the small blind moved all in for around 140,000. Leffingwell quickly called for less and Fitzpatrick got out of the way.

Will Leffingwell: KK
Ryan Van: AA

Leffingwell needed to spike a king to stay alive, but the flop of A69 meant he needed to spike two of them. Unfortunately, the 10 on the turn left him drawing dead and he exited once the Q completed the board.
