Jason Dennis opened the action with a raise to 12,000 under the gun and was called by both Michael Giardina in early position and Eddy Konarske in middle position. Thomas Fuller then three-bet to 50,000 on the button, with only Giardina calling to take action heads up to the flop {6-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}.

Fuller saw Giardina check-call his continuation-bet of 40,000 to bring the turn {9-Clubs} on board, where Giardina checked again.

"All in," said Fuller, effectively putting Giardina to a decision for his last 130,000. Such a decision proved to be an easy one, as Giardina quickly let his hand go and Fuller took down the pot.

Bobby Sanoubane went all in for 23,000 in middle position and action folded around the table to Thomas Fuller, who was in the big blind and called.

Bobby Sanoubane: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Thomas Fuller: {q-Spades}{2-Hearts}

The flop {8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades} left Sanoubane in front but gave him four more gutshot straight outs to sweat. The turn {4-Clubs} and river {k-Clubs} completed the runout, ultimately improving Sanoubane to top pair and scoring him the double.

Jason Dennis open-jammed for 75,000 on the button, exclaiming, "It's what I do best," to result in laughter around the table. Bobby Sanoubane re-jammed in the small blind.

Jason Dennis: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Bobby Sanoubane: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Dennis was on his way out as the flop {5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs} and turn {4-Clubs} came, but the river {k-Diamonds} was one of the three cards left in the deck to keep him alive.

"It's what I do best," he said again with a smile after the king hit. Meanwhile, Sanoubane now finds himself down to just 23,000 and in need of a serious spin to pull back into contention after bein knocked down to four-and-a-half blinds.

Michael Giardina opened to 13,000 in early position and received three calls behind from Sherman Wu in the hijack, Thomas Fuller on the button, and Steve Wilkie in the small blind.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Wilkie checked to Giardina, who continuation-bet 16,000. Wu and Fuller folded, with Wilkie calling thereafter to take action heads up to the turn {7-Clubs}.

"All in," Wilkie announced, pushing forward his stack of 80,000.

"You always show me," said Giardina tabling {a-Clubs}. Wilkie returned the favor with {7-Hearts}.

"Nice hand," Giardina added. "I knew you had it."

Giardina Gets a Big Double

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Michael Giardina
Michael Giardina

Sherman Wu opened to 12,000 under the gun and was called by both Rocco Palumbo in the hijack and Michael Giardina in the small blind. The flop came {3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Giardina checked to Wu, who made a continuation-bet of 13,000. Palumbo folded and Giardina check-raised to 29,000.

"How much do you have left?" asked Wu. Giardina pushed his stack forward so that it was visible to his opponent, who then announced he was all in. Giardina called.

Michael Giardina: {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Sherman Wu: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

"Holy shit," said tablemate Eddy Konarske after seeing Giardina call correctly with a pair of treys and a gutshot. Giardina faded the six outer on both the turn {9-Clubs} and river {10-Spades} and scored a huge double, taking him above a quarter-million as nine-handed play continues.

Rocco Palumbo open-jammed for 54,000 in the cutoff and saw Michael Giardina re-shove in the small blind, receiving no further action thereafter.

Rocco Palumbo: {a-Spades}{3-Spades}
Michael Giardina: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

The flop {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} gave Palumbo another out to stay alive with the turn {k-Hearts} bringing three more possible chop outs. Much to his favor, the river came {a-Clubs} instead to give him a better full house and double through Giardina as a result.
