Dennis Three-Bet Jams the Flop

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Jason Dennis opened on the button and received a call from Justin Liberto, defending his big blind. The flop dropped {9-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Liberto checked to Dennis, who continuation-bet 125,000.

Liberto check-raised to 260,000 and Dennis thought for a while before three-bet shoving. Liberto folded and Dennis took down the pot.

Chris Quackenbush Eliminated in 6th Place ($16,350); Jason Remshardt Eliminated in 5th Place ($20,242)

Chris Quackenbush
Chris Quackenbush

Justin Liberto opened to 80,000 in the cutoff and Chris Quackenbush re-jammed for just under 500,000 in the small blind. Jason Remshardt re-jammed in the big blind, causing Liberto to request a count that was totaled to be 633,000. Liberto then called.

Chris Quackenbush: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Jason Remshardt: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Justin Liberto: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Remshardt was shocked to see his hand dominated in every way except hearts, resulting him to ask the dealer for hearts to come. One came on the flop {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and another came on the turn {3-Hearts}, giving him a shot at the scoop as Quackenbush found himself one card away from a triple. Unfortunately for both, the river fell {q-Spades} to give Liberto queens up and score the double knockout, bringing the field from six to four in a single hand.

Justin Liberto opened to 80,000 on the button and Chris Quackenbush defended his big blind, taking action heads up to a flop of {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Quakenbush checked and then called Liberto's continuation-bet of 100,000.

The turn came {3-Clubs} and Quackenbush checked-called another 200,000. The river fell {6-Spades} and Quackenbush checked a third time. Liberto reached for chips and bet 100,000, causing Quackenbush to grab the same amount and look up at Liberto to give him a shake of the head as he tossed the chips into the middle.

Liberto Shows Two Jacks

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Justin Liberto raised to 80,000 under the gun and action folded around to Steve Wilkie, who defended his big blind. Wilkie led out for 150,000 on {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Liberto found a call.

The turn came {9-Spades} and Wilkie took a few moments before looking down at his stack and then announcing a check. Liberto checked behind and the river fell {2-Hearts}. Wilkie once again took his time, grabbing some of his 25K-chips and then setting them back down one at a time.

"Check," said Wilkie once more.

"Check's good," responded Liberto.

Wilkie tabled {k-Hearts}{7-Spades} for a pair of sevens and Liberto turned over {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}, good to earn him the pot.
