Kevin Kurtz opened the action with a raise to 900 from under the gun. David Kim called from the cutoff, as did both the small blind and Larry Blazer, who defended his big blind.
The flop fell and both blinds checked to Kurtz, who made a continuation-bet of 1,600. Kim called and the two blinds folded.
The turn was and Kurtz continued with a second barrel for 2,000. Kim put in a raise to 5,200 and Kurtz thought for a bit before letting his hand go.

There was around 3,600 in the pot as the dealer announced that there were five players to a flop of . Those five players were Andrew Peragallo in the small blind, the big blind, Wendy Freedman in middle position, Lekid Chounlamany in the hijack, and the player on the button.
Action checked through the flop and turn as the dealer burned and turned the river to bring a full board of . The river saw three checks and Chounlamany made a bet of 1,000. Only the button called.
Chounlamany tabled for a flush and the player on the button mucked, resulting in the pot being sent his way.

There was over 16,000 in the pot on a board of and Richard Seale announced he was all in, effectively putting his opponent in the cutoff to the test for the last of his chips. He received a call and hands were tabled.
Richard Seale:
Opponent:
Seale found himself needing to fade an ace or a king to earn the pot and the knockout. The river came to give him an unnecessary full house and he raked in the pot to make him one of the largest stacks in the room.

Richard Seale limped from under the gun and the player to his left raised to 900. Greg Geller was in middle position and three-bet to 2,000. He received four calls from the hijack, the player on the button, Seale, and the original raiser.
The flop came and action checked to Geller, who bet 6,000. Only Seale called.
The dealer brought the turn and Seale said, "I'm all in," as he put forward a stack of about 35,000. Geller thought for a bit and let his hand go.
On the following hand, Geller opened to 1,000 from early position and again received four calls, one of which was Seale defending his big blind. All five players checked through the runout of and a slew of cards were tabled. In the end, Geller was the only one with an ace in his hand and it was good to take down the pot and get a few chips back on the double-paired board.

The dealer was raking in 4,500 each from preflop action between Barb Visher in early position and her opponent in the cutoff. The flop came and Visher checked. Her opponent bet 3,500 and she made the call.
The turn came and both players checked. The river fell and Visher put forward one red, T5,000 chip. Her opponent thought for a few seconds and tossed in one chip to make a call.
Visher tabled and her opponent mucked, exchanging the chip he dropped onto the felt to call for the proper denomination chip to pay off the bet as Visher collected her newly-earned chips.

David Kim put in a raise to 1,000 from the button over an early-position limp and the player in the big blind announced he was all in for what was around 6,000. Kim quickly called.
David Kim:
Big Blind:
The big blind found himself dominated as the dealer brought a flop of . He then found himself with top pair to give himself a few extra outs, though the monotone flop took some away by giving Kim a flush draw. The turn was no help and the river sealed the deal as the pot was sent Kim's way and his opponent got up and left the tournament area.

Action was five ways on the turn with 14,300 in the pot on a board of . Barb Visher checked in the small blind, as did the big blind. Jeff Granowsky was in early position and bet 7,000. Action was then on Nate Zoller in middle position, who studied the situation before calling. The final player in the hand was the cutoff and he folded, as did both the blinds.
The remaining two players proceeded to the river and Granowsky fired another 11,000 forward. Zoller commented about how well he played his hand in a sarcastic manner as he sent his cards to the muck and Granowsky took down the pot.
