Espen Vaksdal Eliminated in Eighth Place (€4,900)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Espen Vaksdal
Espen Vaksdal

Espen Vaksdal raised to 60,000 from under the gun with {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Sander van Wesemael three-bet to 165,000 from one seat over with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

The action folded back to Vaksdal who jammed for 523,000 and Van Wesemael snap-called.

Vaksdal's Main Event was over after the {10-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} board was unable to help him and he collected the eighth place prize of €4,900.

The remaining seven players are now each guaranteed a payout of at least €6,100.

Vaksdal Doubles With Sevens Against Skolem's Tens

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Espen Vaksdal
Espen Vaksdal

Kristoffer Skolem with {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} opened from the hijack to 55,000 before Espen Vaksdal with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} three-bet jammed to 298,000.

Vaksdal, who just lost a flop, was a huge underdog when the money got in. However, he doubled up after the {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts} board gave him a straight while Skolem took a small dent in his stack.

Craig Timmis

Craig Timmis had a rough return from the dinner break. First, he was bluffed before soon later he was outmatched.

Jan-Mikael Kesanen opened to 60,000 from the hijack with {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Timmis three-bet shoved for 598,000 with {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} from the cut-off. Sebastian Wahl called from the button with {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Kesanen folded.

The {8-Clubs}{j-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} board wasn't able to save Timmis' tournament and he was eliminated in ninth place for €4,200. The eight remaining players are each guaranteed a payout of €4,900.

Almost instantly after Jacobsen hit the rail, Thanh Doan followed in 10th place for €3,650.

He jammed {a-}{k-} for 320,000 and was called by a player with {10-}{10-}. The board was unable to help Doan win the flip and the field is just down to one table of nine players.

The action is on break and we will be reporting the remainder of the tournament on a 20-minute delay to not give away spoilers from those of you watching the stream of the action.

Aleksander Konstantinov Eliminated in 12th Place (€3,100)

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Aleksander Konstantinov
Aleksander Konstantinov

Aleksander Konstantinov was the latest casualty of the tournament.

With about 150,000 already in the pot, Kristoffer Skolem bet 50,000 on the {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop. Konstantinov went over the top for about 400,000 and Skolem called.

Skolem: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Konstantinov: {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

It wasn't looking good for Konstantinov as he could only be saved with a runner-runner straight. The {6-Diamonds} on the turn sealed Konstantinov's fate and after the {2-Clubs} completed the board on the river he headed to the cashier to collect the 12th place prize of €3,100.

Meanwhile, at around the same time on the feature table, Alen Coralic was eliminated in 13th place for €2,580.
