Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk is at the same table as two of his friends. However, he hasn't yet played a hand.
We got bluffed to some degree as he was about to sit down in a seat in between two friends in Coolbet Founder Jan Svendsen and and Jon Kyte.
To add to the banter, Coolbet offers odds on players to win the Coolbet Open as well as head-to-head last longer props which only count if at least one of the players make the money.
As fate would have it Svendsen and von Zweigbergk were matched up in the head-to-head bet with von Zweigbergk listed as a slight underdog.
We doubt both players are afraid to reenter as many times as it will take, so we will keep an eye on this battle. Thus far Svendsen has an early advantage with about twice as many chips as his neighbor.
Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk came back from his break and we learned he did actually play three hands earlier in the tournament. He came back to his seat with no chips in front of him.
"You have already been eliminated," said Coolbet founder Jan Svendsen with a laugh.
"No!" said von Zweigbergk.
Tournament Director Teresa Nousiainen then informed Franke that he was merely moved tables.
"No!" said von Zweigbergk again which got some smiles from players at his old table.
Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk's new table included two roommates in Espen Uhlen Jorstad and Rauno Kiviloo that also work together with Rauno "Estonian Jesus" Tahvonen on a vlog titled One Year One Mil.
Kiviloo and von Zweigbergk were just involved in a big pot.
With about 7,000 already in the middle, Kiviloo checked the action to von Zweigbergk on the board. Von Zweigbergk bet 4,000 and Kiviloo went into the tank while Tahvonen and von Zweigbergk were talking shop about cameras.
After two to three minutes, Kiviloo raised to 12,000 and von Zweigbergk snap called.
Kiviloo looked like he knew he was beaten after von Zweigbergk insta-called and turned over for middle pair. Meanwhile, von Zweigbergk scooped one of the biggest pots thus far today after he turned over for the straight.
The first break just ended and players are back in the seat for the first blind level with antes.
A few more players entered the field and it has ballooned to 82 players which has already beat expectations set by Tournament Director Teresa Nousiainen and Poker Manager of Coolbet Thomas Pasgaard Hviid.
