After the 5♠ river, Guk checked again and Thorolfsson called to win the pot.

After the 8♠ turn, both players checked and the Q♦ river paired the board. Bjorkheim bet only 135,000 and Suominen raised it up to 525,000 for the chip leader to reluctantly call and get shown the bad news.
Vadim Guk raised to 175,000 with the 5♦4♦ on the button and Keimo Suominen defended the big blind holding the A♦5♣. On a flop of 8♣7♥6♠, Suominen check-called for 300,000 and the 10♠ turn was checked by both players.
The board paired with the 10♣ river and Suominen checked, Guk checked behind to win the pot.
Kaido Mikk was forced all-in from the big blind for the last 30,000 with the Q♣Q♠ and Anders Bjorkheim raised to 120,000 holding the K♠8♣, Einar Thorolfsson called on the button with A♦10♥.
The K♦10♠6♣ flop saw Bjorkheim take the lead and the two active players to the 6♥ turn. Bjorkheim bet 160,000 and Thorolfsson called for the 4♥ to appear on the river.
Bjorkheim bet another 250,000 and Thorolfsson checked his stack carefully before making the call, as the Norwegian raked in yet another pot. Mikk's bid for a second title came to an end in eighth place and he collects €¢5,800 for the efforts.
Kaido Mikk raised to 125,000 with 970,000 behind and Einar Thorolfsson pushed all-in from the big blind with the marginally covered stack.

The 7♥4♦2♥ flop was checked to Bjorkheim and he made it 125,000 to go, Tabaei folded and Brandt called. What followed was the 8♣ turn on which Brandt checked which was now the second pair. Bjorkheim made it 350,000 to go and Brandt called reluctantly.
Nothing changed to the Q♦ river on which Brandt checked the third street in a row. Bjorkheim checked behind and raked in another pot to cement his status as the chip leader.
Vadim Guk opened to 125,000 with the K♥10♥ and was called by Keimo Suominen on the button with the 2♠2♦, Seyed Tabaei defended the Q♦10♣ in the big blind.
The 8♠8♥5♠ flop saw Guk bet for 200,000 and Suominen was the only caller. They checked the J♣ turn and the 2♣ came on the river. Guk bet 250,000 and Suominen raised to 650,000.
No snap-fold followed as Guk instead went into the tank to mull it over. He eventually folded and Suominen won the pot.
