Soon after sitting down, Quang Thanh Doan started taking a table massage and lost a portion of his stack. He then got involved in a multi-way three-bet pot with around 7,500 in the middle to the 7♦4♣4♠ flop. Doan bet 3,500 and received three folds to scoop the pot, climbing nearly back to the starting stack.
Table one seat one belongs to Ylva “Jevakim” Thorsrud and fellow Norwegian Twitch streamer Christian 'Sycksbe' Arstad is also in the main tournament room as well. They are both representing Coolbet in live and online poker, aiming to make it to Day 2.

Towards the end of level one, two players were eliminated on different tables at almost the same time. Torleiv Gronbech was the first to fall followed by Gudjon Einarsson.
The latter jammed a 6♣5♣3♠ flop for 23,100 and was called by Kaido Mikk.

No ace came on the J♠ turn and 10♦ river to knock out Einarsson.
Anitta Pietarsaari had won a big pot off Rolf Nordbjorn and then took on Simo Ikäheimo. They created a pot of around 11,000 to the 9♦9♥7♥6♦4♣ river on which Ikäheimo checked. Pietarsaari bet 12,000 and was called after half a minute of consideration to reveal the 7♦7♠ for a flopped full house, scooping another big pot.
Gudjon Einarsson bet the J♥10♥4♦K♣ turn for 2,000 and Kaido Mikk called in the next seat. That brought the A♠ on the river on which Einarsson bet another 7,000. Mikk went into a brief tank and folded.

On a heads-up turn of 7♣6♥5♥2♥, Jesse Huostila checked and subsequently called a bet worth 800 by Asbjorn Elvevold. They checked the 6♦ on the river and the A♥K♦ of Elvevold won the pot.
When Simo Ikäheimo sat down at the table a few minutes before the cards were dealt, he jokingly said he wants to "do a little better than yesterday" when he was not among the 68 survivors.
Just now, he is involved on a five-handed table from the cutoff against Rolf Nordbjorn in the small blind. There are 5,500 in the middle to the A♠8♦7♥7♣J♣ river on which Nordbjorn checked. Ikäheimo bet 3,000 and was paid off to show the winning K♠7♠ for trips sevens.
