Day 1b Started
The sun has risen in Tallinn, Estonia, for the fourth day of the 2025 Coolbet Open, and with Day 1b of the €550 Main Event as the main attraction on the schedule, starting at noon local time, a busy day at the Chesterfield Poker Club is expected.
While Day 1b does not mark the last chance at entering the Main Event, as late registration will remain open throughout the first level of Day 2, the majority of entries usually come from the second and final Day 1.
Previous Coolbet Open champions Anders Bjorkheim and Kaido Mikk are some of the names expected to show up after they did not make it through on their Day 1a attempts. They, along with many others, will be chasing Day 1a chipleader Edd Gerhardsen, who amassed 247,00 chips on the first starting flight, leading the 62 survivors of the 157 entries on Day 1a .

Felipe Barrios raised to 300 as first to act four-handed. Thoroddur Eiriksson bumped it up to 800, which Barrios quickly called. Eiriksson put in the same amount on the 2♠6♥9♠ flop, and Barrios check-called, again swiftly.
Eiriksson sized up to 1,500 on the 8♣ turn, seeing his opponent check-call again. When Eriksson tossed in 2,000 on the 8♠ river, Barrios took some time to think things through.
Eventually, he flicked in a call. Eiriksson tabled J♠J♥ for an overpair, and Barrios nodded before he tossed his cards into the muck.

The pot amounted to 1,400 when Eero Santanen checked from the big blind on a 7♣9♠4♣J♠ turn. Button Jonas Pettersen placed a slight over-bet of 1,500, and Santanen called.
The 5♣ river saw Pettersen size up to 3,000. Santanen check-raised to 7,100, and Pettersen reluctantly called after some thinking time.
Santanen showed Q♣3♣ for a rivered flush, and Pettersen's cards disappeared into the muck in defeat.

The action was caught when the 8♥J♠6♣10♣4♥ river was dealt. Monica Vaka checked from the big blind to Viacheslav Martynenko in the neighboring seat. Martynenko added 5,000 to the sizable pot of 9,000, which folded out Steinar Saevarsson.
Vakka called after some thought, but she could not beat the J♥J♦ of Martynenko, who had flopped top set to rake in the chips. Vaka flashed the J♣ as she mucked her other card without showing it.
