Marfil Finds Big Value on River
Level 7
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
In a pot worth around 4,500, David Marfil checked the Q♥Q♣9♣Q♠ turn under the gun to Kristaps Renga in the cutoff. Renga bet 2,000, and Marfil raised to 8,000.
Renga called to the A♥ river, where Marfil tossed in 17,000, about half of Renga's stack.
Renga spent some time in the tank before he called. Marfil tabled A♣K♠ for a rivered full house, and Renga sent his cards to the muck in defeat.
