Tajiou Snap-Calls a Bluff
Level 15
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
John Blomberg limped in from middle position, and Mounir Tajiou followed suit in the hijack. Jonas Lapinskas then raised to 12,000 in the cutoff. Blomberg tanked for a few minutes before folding, but Tajiou quickly called.
Tajiou check-called when Blomberg continued for 12,000 on the J♣Q♠5♠ flop. The J♦ turn was then checked through to the 2♣ river, which Tajiou also checked.
Blomberg re-engaged with a bet of 15,000. Tajiou instantly called, and Blomberg mucked his cards, opting not to show his bluff. Tajiou tabled 4♦4♣, raking in the pot with his hero-call.
