Pissarev Busts to Blomberg; Roenquist First Casualty of Day 3
Level 22
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
On a 10♥J♦4♦ flop, cutoff Alger Pissarev got his stack of roughly 300,000 in against chipleader John Blomberg in the hijack.
Alger Pissarev: J♠10♠
John Blomberg: 10♦8♦
Pissarev's two pair remained ahead on the Q♥ turn, but the 6♦ river completed Blomberg's flush draw, awarding him the pot and sending Pissarev to an early exit.
Shortly before, Sindre Roenquist had been eliminated at another table.
