Lyu Left Short After Doubling Jokiniemi
Level 24
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Jarno Jokiniemi opened to 50,000 under the gun. Xavier Lyu three-bet to 150,000 in middle position and quickly called when Jokiniemi put his stack of 395,000 at risk.
Jarno Jokiniemi: K♠K♣
Xavier Lyu: A♣K♥
The last king in the deck appeared on the 3♠K♦10♦ flop, although Lyu received a lifeline on the A♠ turn. The 3♥ river provided only Jokiniemi with a full house, doubling him up to an above-average stack.
