In a pot that approached 100,000 chips in size, Shamil Patel bet 50,000 under the gun on a completed board of 3♥6♣J♠A♦K♣. Erik Friberg spent some time in the tank, spending one of his time extensions before he threw in calling chips.

Patel showed A♣K♥J♣7♠ for aces and kings. Friberg studied his opponent's hand for a while before he nodded his head and flung his cards into the muck.

In the meantime, Youness Barakat had retaken his seat in the tournament via a fresh buy-in.

Button Robert Cowen, who had just eliminated Youness Barakat in an unwitnessed hand, raised Nikolaos Lampropoulos' limp to 5,500. Florian Kraft called in the big blind, and Lampropoulos came along as well.

The A♠4♠5♥ flop checked to Cowen, who continued for 5,500. Kraft mucked his cards, while Lampropoulos tossed in a call. The 4♥ turn was checked by both players, and Lampropoulos checked again on the 2♠ river.

Cowen then fired a bet of 18,000, but he instantly folded to a pot-sized raise by Lampropoulos.

Tomasz Kozub raised his button to 5,500. Nino Pansier defended his big blind, and check-called Kozub's contiunation-bet of 4,500 on the 3♥7♥6♥ flop,

The K♦ turn was quickly checked through to the J♦ river, which Pansier also checked. Kozub announced a bet of 16,000, sending Pansier into the tank.

Pansier played with a calling chip for the duration of his 30-second shot clock, tossing it in when his countdown neared zero.

Kozub showed down 10♣9♥9♦8♦ for a pair of nines, meaning the pot was shipped to Pansier, who had called with 6♣5♥5♦3♣ for bottom two pair.

Picking up the action on a 6♥10♥3♥J♣ turn, Youness Barakat and Nikolaos Lampropoulos both checked to the 8♦ river.

Barakat then added 25,000 to the pot of 71,000 from the big blind, and Lampropoulos quickly looked him up in the cutoff.

Barakat showed K♥K♣2♥2♠ for a king-high flush, and Lamproulos' cards quickly disappeared into the muck.

Aku Joentausta opened his button to 5,000. Mark Berente called in the small blind before Tomasz Kozub three-bet to 20,000. Joentausta quickly folded, but Berente fancied a flop and called.

The J♣2♣4♣ the dealer fanned saw Berente lead out for 15,000. Kozub called to the 10♣ turn, which Berente checked. Kozub took the opportunity to bet 26,000.

Berente stuck around with a call, and the 4♠ river was checked to showdown after. Berente showed K♦9♦8♣5♣ for a flopped flush, and he raked in the pot when Kozub mucked his cards.
