Second Chance to Bag in Day 1b of €5,200 PLO Grand Slam Opener
The €5,200 Million, the first of two marquee events of the PLO Grand Slam Prague hosted by the Diamond Poker Series, kicked off yesterday, with Day 1a drawing 50 entries. The first of two starting flights saw 14 players advance to Day 2 with a shot at taking the lion's share of the €1,000,000 guarantee. They are led by Jose Scarano who bagged 1,621,000, good for 162 big blinds going into Day 2.
Today, a new batch of hopefuls will try to emulate their success, with Day 1b starting at 1:00 p.m. local time.

Day 1b follows the same structure as yesterday's Day 1a. Players start with 200,000 in chips, worth 200 big blinds to start the day. Each Day 1 starting flight will play ten 45-minute levels. There will be a 15 minute break after levels 3 and 8, and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 6. Each table will play 8-max, and all players will have 30-second shot clocks. The late registration period will end after Level 13 on Day 2, and unlimited re-entries are permitted during this time.
