Lindstrom Getting a Good Price to Double
Imad Derwiche raised to 50,000 in the cutoff, Fredrik Lindstrom reraised to 160,000 in the big blind, and Derwiche called.
The flop came K♣9♦5♣ and Lindstrom bet 350,000. Derwiche put the chips to call off to the side and the dealer went to take them in, but Derwiche pointed out he hadn't called yet.
He eventually did stick them in the pot and the 2♣ fell on the turn. Lindstrom then checked and Derwiche moved all in. Lindstrom had around 150,000 remaining and tanked for more than a minute before committing his last chips.
"Good call," Derwiche said, showing 10♠8♦7♦6♥ for a straight draw. Lindstrom had A♥K♦Q♠J♠ for a pair of kings and the 9♠ fell on the river to earn him a double up.
"I was getting ten-to-one," Lindstrom said, pretending to wipe his brow as he took in the pot.
Alexander Petersen was eliminated shortly after losing most of his stack to Anh Do.
