Vihikainen Hits the Last Ace to Double Off Bedell

Yusuf Kumtepe raised to 80,000 in the cutoff and Tom-Aksel Bedell called on the button. Aki Vihikainen then reraised to 340,000 in the big blind and both opponents called.

The flop came 644 and Vihikainen bet 260,000. Kumtepe called, but Bedell then raised all in. Vihikainen called for 1,240,000 and Kumtepe got out of the way.

"Come on, spades," Bedell pleaded as both he and Vihikainen showed trip fours, but Vihikainen spiked the A on the turn to make a full house.

"How is that possible," Bedell lamented as the Q completed the board on the river, earning Vihikainen a double up.

"Bye, bye," Bedell said as his chips were pushed across the table.

A few hands earlier, Yanovski had doubled up for 475,000 when his AQ44 hit trips on a A2KQA board against Andriy Lyubovetskiy's JJ77.

Korhs showed QJ99 for a straight, while Mozaffarian had KJJ10. The river was the 8 and Korhs doubled up.

At another table, Henri Kasper was all in for 320,000 from the big blind and up against Alexander Petersen under the gun.

"I run so bad. I've lost every hand since the break," Petersen joked, as on the contrary he had built up his stack to nearly 6,000,000 since dinner mostly at the expense of Youness Barakat who is down to around 2,000,000.

Lehner needed to improve against Mozaffarian's aces, but the 23386 board was no help and Lehner was sent to the rail in 17th place.

At the same time at another table, Yusuf Kumtepe moved all in for 245,000 from the small blind on a board of 9862 and Tom-Aksel Bedell called in the big blind. Aki Vihikainen then reraised to 1,400,000.

"What do I do? My life depends on this," Bedell said as he tanked for a minute before folding.

Kumtepe had J872 for two pair and needed to hold against Vihikainen's AQ108, but the 9 fell on the river to give Vihikainen the nut flush and send Kumtepe to the rail in 16th place.

Leonid Yanovski raised to 140,000 in early position and was called by Gergo Nagy on the button and big blind Hossein Ensan.

Action checked to the river on a board 753JQ when Nagy bet 250,000. Only Ensan called.

Nagy instantly mucked and Ensan showed AQ as he took the pot.

At the same time as the double knockout earlier, Dominykas Karmazinas was also eliminated by Amir Mozaffarian. As recounted by Alexander Petersen, Karmazinas raised in early position and Mozaffarian called.

The flop came Qx9x2x with two diamonds and Karmazinas potted. Mozaffarian called and they got the rest of Karmazinas' chips in the middle on another deuce on the turn.

Karmazinas had two kings, but Mozaffarian had two aces to win the pot and send Karmainzas to the rail.
