Guerra Nearly Quadruples, Vihikainen Sends Out Two

Curtis Muller raised to 25,000 in early position and was called by Aki Vihikainen on the button and Taago Tamm in the small blind. Lautaro Guerra then moved all in for 125,000 in the big blind and Muller reraised to 425,000. Vihikainen reshoved and Tamm threw in his last 85,000, while Muller also called for 550,000.

"No fives anywhere, so I win I think. I actually think I'm going to flop quads," Tamm said optimistically. The board ran out 109332 and Guerra finished with trip threes to win the main pot, while Vihikainen made two pair to win the side pot and send Tamm and Muller to the rail.

Dario Alioto and Igor Pihela were heads-up on a flop of 10QK when Pihela got his last 160,000 in from the big blind and Alioto put him at risk under the gun.

Pihela had flopped a straight against Alioto's top set, but Alioto made a higher straight on the J turn. The Q river improved Alioto to a full house and sent Pihela to the rail.

Damjan Radanov, Anh Do, and €2,200 The Million Opener champion Puk Nabuurs were also recently eliminated.

Masoud Holds With Kings to Triple

Mirza Masoud was all in for 110,000 from the button, Taago Tamm got his last 330,000 in from the cutoff, while Fredrik Lindstrom in early position had both players covered and at risk.

The board ran out 5J537 and Masoud's kings stayed in the lead to earn him the triple up, while Tamm took the side pot off Lindstrom with ace-high.

"Sorry for the inconvenience, but you finished third in the 2K so you can afford it," Tamm joked with Lindstrom after the hand.

Jorgensen Dominating But Forced to Chop With Derwiche

Theo Jorgensen bet 50,000 from the big blind on a flop of J95 and Imad Derwiche called in the cutoff.

The turn was the 8 and Jorgensen checked to Derwiche who bet 200,000. Jorgensen then moved all in and Derwiche called for another 100,000.

Derwiche showed K1077 for a straight, but Jorgensen had a higher straight with KQQ10. The river was the Q and Derwiche found one of the two remaining queens in the deck to make the same straight and chop the pot.

Despite being denied that bustout, Jorgensen has already increased his stack past 1,000,000 after registering at the start of the day.

With the board showing JJ8J on the turn, Aku Joentausta bet 45,000 from under the gun and Dominykas Karmazinas called on the button.

The river was the 4 and Joentausta potted to 213,000. Karmazinas again called and Joentausta showed AKQ3, but Karmazinas showed him AA for a full house.

"Surprise aces," Joentausta said.

"I can still surprise you," Karmazinas replied as he took the pot.
