Tom-Aksel Bedell put in a reraise of 400,000 from the button and Filip Lovric called in early position.
The flop came J♣6♥2♥ and Bedell potted to 920,000. Lovric then moved all in and Bedell called for 350,000 more.
Tom-Aksel Bedell: A♣A♦K♣8♠
Filip Lovric: K♥9♥9♦7♦
"Two hearts, no heart," Bedell said once the cards were revealed. He needed his aces to hold against Lovric's flush draw, and the board ran out K♠5♦ to earn him a double up.
"Mama mia, my heart. I knew you had the hearts. I didn't want you to call," Bedell said.
At the other table, Leonid Yanovski bet 365,000 from the big blind on a board of 6♥3♣8♥7♠ and Hossein Ensan raised to 900,000 on the button.
Yanovski called to see the A♥ river, where he bet 550,000. Ensan took a minute before folding as Yanovski took the pot.
Tom-Aksel Bedell raised to 120,000 in early position and Aki Vihikainen reraised to 450,000 in the cutoff. Fredrik Lindstrom called on the button, as did Bedell.
All three players checked the 10♥6♦2♥ flop. Action then checked to Lindstrom on the 5♥ turn and he bet 350,000. Both Bedell and Vihikainen snap-folded.
Heads-up on a flop of 7♣K♠A♦, Tomasz Krzesinski moved all in for 425,000 on the button and Artur Teshaev put him at risk in the big blind.
Tomasz Krzesinski: A♣K♥J♥9♠
Artur Teshaev: Q♥J♠10♦4♠
Krzesinski had top two pair, while Teshaev was on a straight draw. The 3♠ turn was safe for Krzesinski, while the 7♦ on the river secured his double up.
Alexander Petersen raised to 160,000 in the cutoff and Hossein Ensan reraised to 570,000 on the button. Petersen took a few moments to look over at Ensan's stack before being reminded his countdown had run out, forcing him to use a time bank.
"I'm confused now, so I call. I'm embarrassed that I had to use a time bank," he said as he and Ensan went heads-up to the Q♦10♦3♣ flop. Ensan then moved all in for 725,000. "That's very good when I have the nuts," Petersen said, snap-calling to put Ensan at risk.
Hossein Ensan: A♦K♣4♠3♦
Alexander Petersen: Q♣Q♠2♣2♥
Petersen had flopped top set, but Ensan had both straight and flush draws. The J♠ turn gave him his straight, while the 7♦ river also gave him a flush to double up.
Vitalijs Korhs raised to 150,000 under the gun and Amir Mozaffarian reraised to 540,000 in the cutoff. Gergo Nagy then moved all in for 650,000 on the button. Korhs tanked for more than a minute before folding, while Mozaffarian quickly called.
Gergo Nagy: A♣A♦6♥2♠
Amir Mozaffarian: A♥K♠Q♣6♦
Nagy was ahead with his aces, but both players ended up hitting trips on the 3♠8♦6♠5♥6♣ board and chopping the pot.
Alexander Petersen raised to 135,000 on the button and Hossein Ensan and Vitalijs Korhs came along from the blinds.
"Bring on the Germans," Petersen said as the flop came 4♥4♣3♦. He then continued for 225,000 and only Ensan called.
Both players checked the 7♥ turn and the 9♠ fell on the river. Ensan then led out for 715,000 and Petersen snap-folded.
After the hand, a tournament official came over and joked that there was still 15 minutes to late register the mystery bounty event if they busted right now. Youness Barakat then pretended to put his entire stack in the middle.
"What's the point? I'm tired of this. I've been losing every hand for three hours," Barakat joked.
