Korhs Puts Mozaffarian in the Blender

Level 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Vitalijs Korhs raised to 175,000 in the cutoff and Amir Mozaffarian reraised to 550,000 in the big blind. Korhs came back and potted to 1,730,000, leaving himself 100,000 behind.

Mozaffarian went deep into the tank, burning through multiple time banks as he considered the decision. He eventually decided to fold. "That was a tough one," he said.

"Amir, you just lost your virginity. He's a good guy to lose it to," Youness Barakat added.

A few hands later, Leonid Yanovski limped in from the hijack and Barakat raised to 360,000 in the cutoff. Yanovski called and the flop came KJ10.

Barakat then bet 325,000 and Yanovski called. Both players then checked the 7 turn.

The river was the 2 and Barakat bet 1,100,000. Yanovski used two time banks while Barakat covered his face with the collar of his shirt and closed his eyes.

Yanovski eventually folded as Barakat, still with his eyes closed, secured the pot. "Fold," Hossein Ensan yelled at him to inform him that he had won.
