Esquerdo called to the 10♦K♥5♦ flop, where Santa Maria continued for 300,000. Esquerdo called and both players checked the 6♥ turn.

The river came the K♦ and Esquerdo fired out 675,000 with just queen-high. Santa Maria tanked for a minute as he considered calling with ace-high but ultimately laid down his hand.

Santa Maria Gets It Right Back

Cedric Jaby limped in under the gun as Teddy Kamel in the cutoff, button Carlos Esquerdo, and Ariel Galactico and Fernando Santa Maria in the blinds all came along to create a five-way pot to the flop.

The dealer turned over 9♠2♣Q♣ and Jaby bet 85,000. Kamel called, Esquerdo and Galactico got out of the way, but Santa Maria then raised to 310,000.

Jaby immediately moved all in and Kamel folded, while Santa Maria called for his last 1,100,000.
