Top Pair for Netiv
Level 12
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 4,000 ante
Moments after she eliminated Gabriel Otescu, Maria Angelaki opened to 6,000 from under the gun, but Shai Netiv to her left immediately three-bet to 17,000. In the cutoff, Rares Popa four-bet to 42,000 and made Angelaki fold.
Netiv didn't back down and called. He even led out for 26,000 on a flop of J♠7♥10♠. Popa called. Netiv fired a second barrel on the turn 7♦, then checked on the river 2♥.
Popa, who called on the turn, checked back on the river. But he had to muck his cards when Netiv flipped over Q♦10♥.
