Mecs Makes Bugar Fold on the Turn

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After Gabriel Otescu raised to 5,000 from the hijack, Mate Mecs called from the button, as well as Stefan Bugar in the small blind.

Bugar and Otescu checked on a flop of J42 to Mecs, who bet 5,000. Only Bugar called.

The 7 landed on the turn, and Mecs fired a second barrel of 18,000. Bugar went into the tank, but eventually folded.

At the same table, Paul Newey was eliminated a few hands later.

Konstantin Faerber
Konstantin Faerber

After Boris Progner opened from under the gun, Konstantin Faerber three-bet all-in for approximately 13 blinds. All the other players folded to Progner, who went into the tank and eventually called.

Konstantin Faerber: AQ
Boris Progner: AQ

Everybody was expecting a split. But Progner was lucky enough to find the nut flush on a flop of 568. Faerber was drawing dead and stood up when the dealer revealed the turn 2 and the river 4.

Two Pair for Baranyi

Level 9 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Four-way in a limped pot, Vincze Baranyi bet 4,000 on a flop of 2QK after everybody checked. Only Matej Macejak in the big blind check-called, as the small blind and the hijack folded.

Baranyi fired a second barrel of 7,500 on the turn 7, and Macejak quickly check-called again. However the river 9 brought no more action, as both players checked.

Macejak flipped over K10 for a pair, but Baranyi had two pair with K2 to win the pot.

Zsuffa Doubles Through Johnsen

Level 9 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Orjan Johnsen raised from the hijack and was called by the button, but Miklos Zsuffa in the small blind three-bet all-in for 18,200.

Johnsen went into the tank, and moved all-in with a bigger stack. Unhappy, the button folded.

Miklos Zsuffa: JJ
Orjan Johnsen: 66

The dealer fanned a board of 5A974, so Zsuffa secured a double up. The button said he had an ace.

Angelaki Pays for Alina's Mistake

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Vitaliy Kryza raised to 2,500 from middle position and was called by Maria Angelaki in the cutoff. Mario Alina wanted to call too, but he mistakenly put in an extra chip in front of him. The dealer informed him that he had to min-raise to 3,800.

With the action back to him, Kryza chose to four-bet to 12,500. Angelaki quickly called, but Alina folded, smiling about his mistake.

On a flop of 610A, Kryza continued for 15,000. Angelaki went into the tank but eventually folded, revealing the A.
